My little birthday wishIt's my birthday again.
I suddenly recall my visit to Dr Goh, the president of Kasih Foundation (http://www.kasihfoundation.org) couple weeks ago.
It was my very first met with her to discuss about Art Therapy sharing and training for Kasih Foundation Volunteers in coming December.
It was a wonderful morning, weather was nice. I met her at PapaRich Restaurant close to Kasih Foundation for breakfast, together with a group of Tibetan monks and all other nurses, volunteers of Kasih Foundation too.
That particular morning, they were inviting Tibetan monks to Kasih Foundation center for blessing ceremony. It was a blessed that I got the same opportunity to pay my homage to them and got blessed. I joint Dr Goh for part of her interview session with GuangMing's reporter right after that ceremony. That's where and when I get to know her better.
A volunteer auntie told me that Dr Goh's weekend always filled with all activities with Kasih Foundation... fully occupied!
Looking at her, always with a smiling face, since early morning.. until when I waved my goodbye hand to her.. still the same smiling face. She's so kind, and warmth. I could felt the strong energy within her.. doing this meaningful works.. and.. I wish one fine day, I'm able to do the samething! ^-^
I'm beginning my journey to share what I've and learning with Art Therapy. It's a tough journey, basically the market is not yet ready for it. Suffered with tight budget, the very down to earth reality, but I will be there! This is my birthday wish.
I am arranging a Art Therapy sharing session with Kasih Foundation Volunteers in Oct (most likely). Still haven't really find the time to sit down to work out the detail materials, but I'm so excited to get invitation from Dr Goh to spend some time with their volunteers. Will update all later once the schedule is fixed.
